Aprender inglés con Sri Lanka
Para quien no conoce nuestro proyecto de "One world, One school" desde el inicio, le diremos que uno de los objetivos era mostrar a nuestros alumnos cómo aprender inglés tiene sentido y nos permite comunicarnos de verdad con personas diferentes a nosotros, acceder a su cultura y abrir horizontes.
No teníamos ningún cuento de Sri Lanka traducido al español, así que tuvimos que leerlo directamente en inglés y, ¿sabéis lo que han conseguido los alumnos de tercero con la maestra Marina? ¡Han sido capaces de traducir el cuento de la calabaza a español!
¡Enhorabuena a TODA la clase por este trabajo y por vuestro empeño! ¡Todo el San Sebastián está muy orgulloso de vosotros!

For those who do not know our "One world, One school" project from the beginning, we will say that one of the objectives was to show our students how to learn English makes sense and allows us to really communicate with people different from us, access their culture and open horizons.
We did not have any Sri Lankan stories translated into Spanish, so we had to read them directly in English and, do you know what the third graders have achieved with Marina? They have been able to translate the pumpkin story into Spanish!
Congratulations to the whole class for this work and for your efforts! The whole San Sebastian is very proud of you!
Para aqueles que não conhecem o nosso projeto "Um mundo, Uma escola" desde o início, diremos que um dos objetivos era mostrar aos nossos alunos como aprender inglês faz sentido e nos permite realmente comunicar com pessoas diferentes de nós, acessar suas cultura e horizontes abertos.
Não tinhamos nenhuma história do Sri Lanka traduzida para o espanhol, então tivemos que lê-las diretamente em inglês e, sabem o que os alunos da Terceira classe conseguiram com a professora Marina? Traduzir a história da abóbora para o espanhol!
