International Women´s Day

 

Yesterday was  the International Women's Day and we worked on it through our "One world, one school project".

We start by watching the following videos about what a day in the life of a girl from Sri Lanka and another from South Sudan.

Afterwards, we wrote a collective poem about them. Mrs. Isa, who was also with us, helped us.

A Collective poem witten by 2nd Grade

I want to say your names

I want to see your houses

I want to give you everything possible

To see your smile.

Orange, mango, green and earth

police blue

The rainbow was shining.

Tall as the clouds

You shine like the sun,

like the sky

If you dream high

You will get your wish:

Being a nurse

and take care of your family

The first.

Pray to heaven and you will get your dream!
